Hello everyone!

Today, I will tell about a topic that is difficult for me because  I can't imagine myself in the past or the future.

If you ask me, If I would prefer going to the past or the future, I would answer neither one nor the other because I prefer the present! But since I have to answer this question I am going to choose the past because I would like to know and verify that the information provided in the Bible or in the History books were well narrated. 

Additionally, I have to say that If I could go to the past I would change nothing because for me the history is one. However, I would remove the world wars because many people died or this negatively impacted the health of thousands of others.

 Also I would say that I wouldn't like to stay in the past because I consider that it was very sacrificed in a lot aspects for humans beings, in comparison to how we live now. Furthermore, we have many modern amenities as well as houses with a heating system, numerous plates of food and multiple trends of clothing,. Additionally, we have the internet and mobiles which we did not have before.

  I believe that the past was good but I prefer to live in the present and don't like think in the future because I get stressed.

  

Post- Your Bucket List

 

Hello everyone!

Today I have to tell about which  activities I would incluide in my Bucket List.

First of all, I have to say that I haven't thougth in this for a long time but I consider that it is a good to reflect. 

I believe that in my list I would incluide first finishing the career of  Chemistry and Pharmacy, in order to work and have financial independence.  I would also add other things; such as finding a job where I will be happy, starting a family, owning a home and saving money for holidays.

I don't know how difficult they are to accomplish, but I know that this things require time and a lot effort to acquire.  

I haven't achieve anything in my list alredy, but I am studying for it. And I believe that with a short time I will achieve the first point on my Bucket List.

Furthermore, I would like achieve these activities with my parents because I am an only daughter and they  have always supported me and my personal goals in all. 

Finally, I have to mention that there are many other things that I would like to do or learn and  I hope to be able to do them some day.

Post 4 >> TV show and series

 Hello everyone! 

I hope you are well and not stressed by these weeks of university tests.

Today I have to write about my favorite series or television programs. 

The truth is that I haven't dedicated myself to watching tv programs for a long time since I have little time due to studies, but I have to say that I like family, cultural programs and some programs related to mental and spiritual health.

Among  my favorite series that I watched when I had time were reports that show different and also ancient civilizations because it fascinates me to know how they lived in the antiquity and compare with how we live today. I don't remember any specific names of the programs but I watched them on the National Geographic television channel.

However, one of the last series that I remember watching and that I remember its name is " The Story of God" wich was hosted by the actor Morgan Freeman. 

I liked this because it is a documentary series starring this actor and also broadcast by National Geographic, but years ago. I only saw the third season. But I liked it a lot because it explores various cultures from different parts of the world and deals with a topic that I find super interesting that is related to religions, compares various points of view, trying to resolve questions that we have always asked ourselves about faith.

I think that when I have free time and remember it, I will look for the previous seasons of this series. 

Post 3: Academic changes in 2022

 Hello everyone! 

Today I will tell you about the academic changes that could be made to the programme of Chemistry and Pharmacy  at Universidad de Chile.

In relation to the programme of the career, I must tell you that for me it is too long, since you have to considerer stuying for five or six years.   Furthermore, in my opinion in the curriculum  there are very important and necessary subjects, but some of them are learned with a lot of depth and these are very probably not practical, that is, that we won't use them when we start working.

Also, there are some essential subjects to our career that aren't in the programme. For example; Anatomy, Immunology and Marketing, which are elective subjects. However, I think that the latter should be compulsory and not some of the ones we take. Personally, I would remove some that of the unpractical ones.

Additionally, I would change the number of credits per elective subjects to a lower amount because there are a lot and they increase the academic load per semester. Acase in point,  is that some students have had to extend their studies to another semester in orden to complete these credits, because they can't deal with so many tests and assignments during the weeks.

As for the facilities of the faculty, I must say that are in good condition.

In relation to the communication technology for students (u-course and zoom), it is a friendly and easy-to-use system.

Finally, in terms of teaching methods, I think there are subjects that could be improved, especially those that have a lot of group work.

The best holidays

 Hello classmates!

I will tell you about  the best holidays that I have had so far.

My best holidays were  a few years ago in Argentina, specifically in Buenos Aires. I was in the neighboring country for approximately one month and I traveled because I wanted to visit   my uncle's house before starting classes at the university. 

With them I visited many places on my trip, such as The Casa Rosada, The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, The Museo Nacional al aire libre- Caminito, the Obelisco, the stadium of the famous Argentinian football team: River Plate, among other places.

Furthermore, we ate typical Argentine food such as roast, millanesa, pizza and many other delicious things that have an Italian influence. Finally, for the first time I celebrated my birthday in another country and with guests that I didn't know.

These vacations have been the best I have had so far because it was my first trip alone by plane. They were fun days and my uncle and aunt welcomed me into  their house very warmly. 

I would like to have a holiday like this again soon. 

A Country I would like to visit

 Hello 

Today  I will tell you about a country that I would like to visit. 

I would like to visit Peru! Although I have been in Lima and Tacna before, I would like to revisit it because I was there for a short time only. Peru has many amazing places with a lot of history since it was the cradle  of successive civilizations and was a viceroyalty of the Spanish empire. 

I would like to stroll through the streets of Lima because is a pleasant and very interesting way of gaining an insight into the history of Peru. Futhermore, it has many churches, museums, and beautiful and well maintained gardens.

Additionally, I would love to try their typical foods and desserts, such as Suspiro limeño and rice pudding, which is very different to the Chilean one.

I must tell you that I love Chile and I would not change my country. However I would like to travel and go on vacation for some days to a nearby country without having to travel many hours by plane.

Hello classmates

I am Denisse Perez student of Chemical and Pharmacy.

Today I write to say what is my favorite means of transportation  to move in Santiago, for my the best is  subway, because I live very near it and I use it to move for the city, futhermore this means of transportation conect practically all the city and is cheap to the student with school pass.

In relation a the best place to visit in Santiago I don´t know, because I live in Santiago recently, I only study here, but I don´t know many places therefore I don´t recommend places to visit.  

I am the south of Chile, specifically of Concepción, in my city  there are much places beautiful to travel, such as beach, mountain, natural parks, as well as the University of Concepción. Apart from this in my city there are various shopping centres to buy and visit.  

Do you recommend the best place of Santiago to I visit it?
